The company was formed to develop new patented technologies that offer innovative solutions for silt removal; and to prove the commercial viability of those technologies by trading as a corporate entity. Both the technologies and their commercial viability have now been proven, and hence the business offer is now due. New variants of the technology will continue to be developed on an on-going basis.
Established in 2007 and built upon extensive experience, the current owners of the business have available these new dredging systems, a detailed knowledge of dredging contracts available in the UK, and two fully equipped dredging vessels and a third due to start operations in October 2009. The company is based in South East England.
The new techniques and technology are rapidly redefining the nature of this sector of the dredging industry. In a relatively short period of time the business has completed thirty contracts. This involved tackling dredging problems in environmentally sensitive areas, in small rivers and relatively shallow tidal waters, as well as in the deeper waters of the Thames Estuary. The work included high profile contracts for prestigious clients such as the Environment Agency, the Port of London Authority, Medway Council and the Medway Ports Authority.
